Did you know that your menstrual cycle is far more than just a monthly occurrence? It is a deeply intelligent, rhythmic system that influences nearly every aspect of your life—your energy levels, emotions, cognitive function, appetite, creativity, and even your self-confidence. Yet, we live in a world that prioritizes linear productivity, often dismissing the natural ebbs and flows of our bodies. Many of us have been conditioned to ignore or suppress these fluctuations, leading to burnout, frustration, and a disconnection from our own inner wisdom.

This workshop is designed to help women reconnect with their bodies, understand the four distinct phases of the menstrual cycle, and learn how to align daily life—work, relationships, self-care, and movement—with these natural shifts. By recognizing and embracing the wisdom of our cyclical nature, we can learn to become more self aware and understand and manage ourselves better in more turbulent times.

Cacao Ceremony & Kirtan: A Journey to the Heart (EN) @ Yoga Nest

Join us for a heart-opening evening of connection, music, and ancient rituals at Yoga Nest Zurich on March 29th.

We are honored to welcome Shyam and Catherine, two special guests from Italy, who will guide us through this unique experience—a blend of guided meditation, sacred cacao, and soul-stirring Kirtan, to nourish the spirit and bring us together as a community. Our dear Ankit from the Yoga Nest team will also be joining them in leading the Kirtan.

What makes this evening so special?

We will begin with a guided meditation, allowing us to settle, breathe, and arrive fully in the space. This will prepare us to receive the heart-opening benefits of ceremonial cacao, a sacred plant medicine cherished for centuries by indigenous cultures. More than just a delicious drink, cacao is known for its ability to uplift the spirit, support circulation, and deepen emotional connection—making it the perfect companion for meditation and music.

After sharing cacao together, we will move into Kirtan, a beautiful practice of devotional singing. No experience is needed—just your presence and an open heart. With Shyam, Catherine, and Ankit leading us, we will chant simple yet powerful mantras, creating a shared experience of unity, joy, and deep connection. Singing in this way is not about performance—it’s about expression, vibration, and allowing the music to guide us inward.

Stress und der Umgang damit @ Aranya Studio

Viele Reize und Stressoren wirken jeden Tag auf uns ein. Oft verbinden wir das Wort "Stress" mit Arbeit, doch es gibt weitaus mehr Stressoren wie z.B. emotionale Belastungen, Ängste, Zeitdruck, unangenehme Gespräche... Die Liste ist lang, Vieles davon können wir nicht ändern, es gehört zu unserem Leben dazu. Was wir jedoch ändern können, ist der Umgang damit und wie wir die eigenen Ressourcen aufbauen und nutzen können. In diesem Kurs lernst Du viel über das autonome Nervensystem und die Reaktion auf Stress von Körper und Geist. Du lernst was Stress eigentlich ist, warum er zu einem verspannten Kiefer oder Nacken führen kann, wie er sich ganz allgemein auswirkt und was die Atmung damit zu tun hat. Wir erlernen alltagsnahe Übungen, die Du nach dem Kurs jederzeit in Deinem Alltag einsetzen kannst. Der Kurs besteht aus 6 Teilen à 90min und umfasst theoretisches Wissen wie auch praktische Übungen. Dieser traditionsreiche Chakra-Workshop am Anfang des neuen Jahres erfindet sich immer wieder neu. Diesmal geht es um die Blockierungen und Stauungen der freien Flüsse dieser grossartigen Räder in unseren feinstofflichen Körpern, welche die Qualität unseres Alltagserlebens ebenso still wie mächtig beeinflussen. Wir werden an diesem Morgen einen transformativen Bewusstseinsprozess einleiten, um für das neue Jahr in einen schönen Schwung auf der instinktiven, auf der intuitiven, auf der mentalen und der emotionalen Ebene zu kommen. As the year draws to a close, we invite to you to join us for an End of Year Ritual, where we will come together to honor the closing of this chapter, the transitions we've experienced and to create a space for reflection, gratitude, and intention-setting for the year ahead. This intimate gathering may help you reflect on the past year, acknowledge what you have experienced, gently let it all sink in and settle down.

As we wrap up another year, it's the perfect time to take a moment for ourselves. The holiday season can be fun but also a bit hectic, and many of us feel the urge to rush into the new year, leaving behind the past. To truly make space for fresh beginnings, it's important to acknowledge what we've experienced and find closure.

Together, we’ll settle into stillness, lighting the way forward from the past, through the chilly winter, and into a bright future. Let’s welcome the New Year with open hearts and clear minds!

The evening will start with creating a meditation nest. We will share few meaningful reflection rituals, including a guided journaling session to explore your personal journey over the past year, creating a tangible reminder of your growth.

As we move through the evening, we will flow with the gentle asana sequence and extended breathing techniques - so you can unwind and reflect. We'll take time to relax our bodies and minds, allowing the comfort of the Earth to support us.

We will close the evening with a sound journey with Tibetan bowls that will symbolize your transition into the new year. Here, you will be leaving behind and what you wish to invite into your life moving forward, surrounded by the calming energy of the studio.

Vertrauen in der Praxis – Ein Workshop mit Céline Ryf

In der Bhagavad Gita empfiehlt Krishna seinem Freund und Schüler Arjuna ein Shraddha-van zu werden, d.h. jemand, der Vertrauen hat.

Shradda – Vertrauen ist essentiell für unsere Praxis, aber auch ganz einfach für unser Leben. Ohne Vertrauen würde sich niemand aus dem Haus wagen. Durch Vertrauen können sich die grössten Zweifel auflösen. In der Yogapraxis unterstützt uns Vertrauen dabei dranzubleiben, und umgekehrt stärkt die Praxis und das Dranbleiben unser Vertrauen.

In diesem Workshop erkunden wir den Effekt von Vertrauen und Hingabe in einer fliessenden Asana Sequenz, die sowohl auf Beweglichkeit als auch Kraft fokussiert. Als Inspiration hörst du Geschichten über unerschütterliches Vertrauen aus den Schriften.

Der Workshop beginnt und endet mit dem Singen von Mantra. Mantra unterstützt uns dabei über die Limitierungen des Geistes hinauszugehen, um unsere ganze Kraft und Strahlen entfalten zu können.
